Why the price difference

A metered taxi's final fare depends on traffic and time of day, so you don't know the exact number until you arrive. A private transfer costs more than the bus but the price is fixed and agreed before you fly — no surprises at the airport, and a driver tracking your flight so a delay doesn't cost you anything. Card online in advance, or cash to the driver.

Questions

Is the bus cheaper than a taxi from Burgas Airport?

Line 15 runs from the airport into the city and is normally the cheapest option, though ticket price and frequency are still being confirmed on this page. A metered taxi will cost more than the bus but less predictably than a fixed-price private transfer.

Is a private transfer more expensive than a taxi?

Private transfer prices start from €35 per vehicle, not per person, agreed before you fly. A metered taxi can end up cheaper or more expensive depending on traffic and time of day — the difference is that you don't know the exact fare until you arrive.
